Jack Patterson founded Fleet 70 in about 1999. As I recall, his Shamrock was the first boat in the fleet, Arnie Samuel's Tangerine was second, and my Joan!!! was the third.
The Fleet has grown steadily, and continues to be competitive, friendly and vibrant.
